Colin Thomas and his rink are in a tie for first place in Re/Max SuperLeague Curling at the Re/Max Centre (St. John's Curling Club) after a 6-4 win over Rick Rowsell in Draw 15 action.

The victory in the game — which was pre-played in advance of the Tankard men’s provincials — leaves Thomas and Adam Boland’s rink tied for top spot.

Boland had a bye in Draw 15. The two teams are set to meet in Draw 17.

In another game of note in Draw 15, Greg Smith and his rink, fresh off their win in the Tankard provincial men's championship, downed Nathan Young's junior team 7-5.
