ST. JOHN’S: Sunny start… wind and rain on the way!
The very fall-like fair weather system that’s been serving up bright days and cool nights will soon be replaced by a well-developed area of low pressure approaching from the west. The associated warm front will bring a strong south wind and anywhere from 20 to 30 mm of rain. The trailing cold front will bring only partial clearing thanks in part to Leslie. Leslie is a subtropical storm that is expected to interact with another area of low pressure and stall off our coastline. Landfall is not expected at this time. Stay tuned.
