ST. JOHN'S, NL - A low pressure system developing along the eastern seaboard will intensify as it tracks just east of the Avalon Peninsula Wednesday night into Thursday. Over central regions of the Island, as well as the Northeast and East Coasts, rain showers will give way to steadier rain before changing to snow Wednesday evening. Snowfall could range from 5-10 cm with more in the higher elevations. Conditions are expected to improve through the day Thursday.
