Regional Weather Forecast
From hot and muggy to cool and windy in the blink of an eye. The cold front that’s been draped across the province for a couple of days has finally moved offshore, As a narrow dry slot wiggles in behind it, we’ll see partial clearing with a little more heat on the way…for the short term. The wind comes around to the south to start the weekend - ahead of a tightly wound area of low pressure. The heaviest rain will track north through Labrador but we’re all in for some wind. The wind will gust between 60 and 80 km/h as it swings around to the northwest. Sunshine returns for the first full day of autumn on Sunday.
