Another fast food restaurant is coming to Carbonear.
Dairy Queen plans to set up shop on Columbus Drive. Carbonear Town Council voted on Sept. 25 to approve the permit for construction of the building, at 75-93 Columbus Drive. That location is next to Canadian Tire.
Earlier this year, council gave its approval for a contractor to prepare design work for a new intersection along Columbus Drive in order to accommodate future commercial development along the road leading into Carbonear.
