GANDER, NL – Gander Flight Training (GFT) recently renewed its contract with Rangsit University in Thailand for another five years.
GFT president and CEO Patrick White was in Bangkok to sign the agreement.
“Both parties are working on ways to increase the number of students going to GFT from Thailand,” White said in a news release issued on Dec. 19.
“While I was there, it was a good feeling to see many of our graduates trained at GFT flying some of the largest aircraft in the world.”
Some of the Thailand graduates have stayed in the province and other parts of Canada after finding employment as commercial pilots, White noted.
