Building on the success of a first season he says earned viewer numbers upwards of 100,000, Big Jib Productions’ Donny Love is premiering his second season of “Open House NL” this weekend.

The reality TV show follows the life and work of local real estate agents. This time around, they are Tiffany Butt and Wayne Hanlon of Hanlon Realty, and Nevin Hollett of Royal LePage Atlantic Homestead.

Love and filmmaker Roger Maunder have been tracking the realtors for the past year, Love says, and they are excited to debut the show, which will show the trio as they “chase the sale, try to one-up the competition and beat the clock to pull closings together.”

Love has said he created the show after recognizing the popularity of real estate programs and how it could combine with local scenery.

“It really opened my mind on how much these agents work,” he said.

Between scenes, viewers will see vignettes with tips from mortgage specialists, a home inspector, real estate lawyer and interior decorator.

“Open House NL” will debut on NTV Sunday at 4:30 p.m., and will continue for six weeks.
