In recognition of Tom Beckett and Mike Buhler’s efforts to bring world class beer to Newfoundland and Labrador, Quidi Vidi Brewery is launching two new beers in their honour.
For Beckett, the brewers in Quidi Vidi Village have created a well-rounded and balanced west coast style India Pale Ale called Calm Tom’s Double IPA.
For Buhler, they brewed up a Belgian style beer called Mad Mike’s Big Bag Belgian, tipping the scales at 8.4 per cent alcohol content.
Each beer will get its own special launch and tasting event that’s open to members of the Buhler and Beckett’s NL Artisanal and Craft Beer Club. A $10 cover charge gets you a glass of beer and some light snacks.
