SYDNEY, N.S. — Small businesses, non-profits, community groups and leaders across the province are invited to apply for CUA’s 2021 Community Investment Grant Program.
This year, $100,000 is available and, since its 2015 inception, the program has helped 40 local businesses, initiatives and organizations across Nova Scotia.
“We’re excited to see it growing alongside our recipients,” said Marie Mullally, CUA’s president and CEO, in a news release.
“We’ve discovered these investments are about much more than money to the recipients; it’s a vote of confidence that says we believe in you, we value your work and we want to be part of your future.”
Funds will be allocated in five categories this year. There is $40,000 available for small business, $20,000 for sustainability, $15,000 for health and wellness, $15,000 for community and $10,000 for new business.
Applications can be submitted online at cua.com/grants and will be accepted until 4 p.m. on Jan. 29.
The CUA is a full-service banking institution based in Halifax.
