As part of the 75th anniversary of commercial airline operations, the authority has launched an eight-week campaign and contest that encourages people to share their stories about travelling through the airport and what the airport means to them.

By visiting yyt75.com, people can upload videos, pictures or text to share their stories. They can also share through social media.

At the end of the contest, a random draw will award one lucky winner with two tickets to anywhere Air Canada flies in North America.

“Every year people meet their grandkids and grandparents for the first time, get engaged and even get married at our airport,” Marie Manning, director of marketing and business development, stated in a news release. “Adventures begin and end here, and the airport is a big part of those memories. This campaign is designed to allow people to share their stories and to relive some of those memorable moments.”
