CLARENVILLE, N.L. — The Clarenville Area Chamber of Commerce is taking registration until the end of day today, Monday, Feb. 18, for a business information forum. The topic is “Cannabis Legislation/Business Opportunities.”
Minister Christopher Mitchelmore of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation was originally scheduled to conduct the event, but a scheduling change will see a provincial department representative speak on the matter.
The dinner meeting will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at the Clarenville Inn.
The event is open to all businesses, however Chamber members receive first opportunity to attend.
The cost is $25 for chamber members and $35 for non-members.
