The Kids Eat Smart breakfast fundraiser at Topsail Elementary took place Oct 10. Students, staff and volunteers didn’t let the weather rain on their plans.

The had a great “fitness” to breakfast! The weather didn’t co-operate for a walk so there was a last-minute change of plans. Aimee Stoyles-Langer from A Fitness came to teach a fitness class for the students. Everyone had a ball! Darrin Bent, a councillor from C.B.S, Lori Warford-Woolgar and Kristen Hedges from Kids Eat Smart and Matthew Rose and Nicole Evans from TD were in all attendance! Families are encouraged to donate online or bring a donation to school (monetary or an item from our approved food list).

Kids Eat Smart will match all donations made dollar for dollar. Contributions can still be made online until Nov. 30 by visiting the Kids Eat Smart foundation page.
