The annual Smith Sound Santa Claus parade was held on Sunday, Dec. 9, with the sunshine beating down on many colourful and festive floats.
The participants threw candy canes to the spectators as they towed a floats featuring trees, gingerbread houses and snowmen.
The Smith Sound Fire Truck led the parade, with some kids along for the ride in the front with the firefighters, and the “Paw Patrol” with Smith Sound Fire Department featured an elaborate float this year, with many kids along for the ride.
And, as always, the grand finale is Santa Claus. With Smith Sound in the background, it had to be one of the more beautiful sights for the big jolly guy on his rounds of parades.
