There are five days of winter fun on the way for St. John’s.
The city’s annual ChillFest is set for Feb. 14-18 in the metro region, featuring a combination of indoor and outdoor community-wide activities for people of all ages.
What’s more, all the events and activities are free of charge.
The Bannerman Park Loop, for instance, will be home to two events: the Valentine’s sweetheart skate on Feb. 15 and a characters on ice skating party featuring favorite storybook characters on Feb. 18.
Other events include free ski and snowshoe rentals in Pippy Park (Feb. 14), a kitchen party with music from Fergus O'Byrne & Fergus Brown-O'Byrne at the Johnson GEO Centre (Feb. 16), and a screening of the film “Peter Rabbit” at the Avalon Mall Scotia Bank Theatre (Feb, 18)
