The next generation of RNC grads join the ranks


The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) bolstered its rank and file by 16 on Saturday with the addition of 16 new constables in a ceremony held at the Memorial University of Newfoundland Field House.

The 16 graduates of the RNC/MUN Diploma in Police Studies program paraded and participated in a swearing-in-ceremony. It was the 13th annual graduating class and first such event presided over for new RNC Chief of Police Joe Boland. Above, RNC Const. Chris Horan’s son Owen Horan, 5, was aptly dressed for the occasion.
