Corner Brook Status of Women Council celebrates 45 years by unveiling new logo

CORNER BROOK, N.L. — The Corner Brook Status of Women Council office recently celebrated its 45th anniversary with an open house to show appreciation to its partners, volunteers and staff and to unveil a new logo designed by local artist Ed Hollett.
The council, which is located at 2 Carmen Ave., was established in 1974 to advocate gender equality and equity in the community and to provide accompanying education and resources.
