'GO BACK TO AMERICA': Piers Morgan tells Meghan Markle to 'stop squealing about privacy'

Piers Morgan thinks Meghan Markle should to go back to her home country if she wants to live a more private life.

“You’re public people, all of you,” Morgan said on Good Morning Britain after Duchess of Sussex reportedly sought for privacy while watching Wimbledon from the royal box.

The fed-up Morgan ranted on the show about the royal couple, whom he thinks should stop “squealing about privacy.”

Morgan’s outbursts were fuelled by media consultant Sally Jones’ claim in The Telegraph that Markle’s royal protection team refused to let people take photos of her during the tennis tournament.

Jones wrote she was approached by a man who told her not to photograph Markle, since she was “here in private capacity.”

But the media consultant claimed to be busy taking shots of Serena Williams and hadn’t noticed the Duchess watching the game.

Enter Morgan on a Tuesday broadcast of Good Morning Britain.

“If you want to be private, go back to America,” quipped the GMB co-host.

Morgan’s co-host Susanna Reid objected to this, “They don’t have to go back to America by the way.”

But he responded, “she does, she’s American.”

The English broadcaster tells the former Suits actress if she wants privacy, she should no longer be part of the royal family in Britain.

“She doesn’t want to be a British public figure in the royal family, go back to America.”

As if that wasn’t enough, the GMB host took to Twitter to call out Markle’s “absurd” demand for privacy.

The broadcast left a bitter taste for Markle’s fans who called out Morgan’s harsh words.

Some felt Morgan’s “go back to America” sounded similar to “go back to your country,” which has a racist connotation.

Markle has a mixed ethnic background. Her father is Caucasian and her mother is African-American.

Despite the criticism for privacy, the royal couple held a intimate christening on Saturday for their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

Photos of royal family at the Windsor Castle finally let the public see the baby Archie’s entire face for the first time.
