ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — A new year means there is a new edition of a gallery of pictures from award-winning photojournalist Keith Gosse of The Telegram. These are some of Keith's photos from the first half of the first month of 2021.

Dr. Douglas Henshaw and his wife Sylvia are shown in the nursing home where he resided in 2015. Dr. Henshaw, who suffered from advanced Parkinson’s Disease, was one of the first patients in Nova Scotia to be approved for Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID). He died on Sept. 6, 2016, at age 84.
