ST. JOHN'S, N.L. — The annual Telegram Saves Lives campaign was in full swing Friday morning at the Canadian Blood Services provincial headquarters in St. John's, where Telegram staff served pancakes to blood donors.

Telegram integrated advertising consultant Marjory Green didn't mind taking some time Friday to donate blood at the Canadian Blood Services facility in St. John's Friday. Telegram staff were on hand that day to serve a pancake breakfast to donors as part of its annual Telegram Saves Lives campaign.

Telegram staff were on hand that day to serve a pancake breakfast to donors as part of its annual Telegram Saves Lives campaign.

The campaign, which encourages the general public to donate blood, runs until Saturday. The Telegram has published a series of letters from people whose lives were changed by blood donation as part of the campaign.
