GOOSE COVE, NL. - The small town of Goose Cove is abuzz this weekend as tourists and locals flock to the small town to catch a glimpse of a towering iceberg off its shores.
The berg arrived last last week and it has since attracted the attention of iceberg hunters, tourists and even locals because of its size.
It is the largest iceberg to visit the Great Northern Peninsula so far this year and, according to Iceberg Finder, it is estimated to be between 150 to 250 feet above sea level.
