CORNER BROOK, N.L. — ACAP Humber Arm will be discussing how to tackle organic waste for its regular Coastal Matters speaker series this month.

On Jan. 30, Dana Spurrell, Multi-Materials Stewardship Board CEO, will be speaking about and addressing issues around waste management.

The board is placing an emphasis on reduce, reuse and recycle to develop and manage public education programs to encourage a fundamental shift in attitudes and behaviours toward managing waste.

The session will be held at the Grenfell Campus forestry centre at 12:30 p.m. It is open free of charge to all members of the public.
