The Martha Spirituality Centre is offering a variety of programs via Zoom for the winter and spring of 2021.
This is due to COVID-19 regulations that make available space inadequate to offer face-to-face programming. The centre is grateful for the generosity of so many facilitators to enable Zoom programming to happen.
In February, there will be a women’s Zoom book study entitled On the Brink of Everything; Grace, Gravity and Getting Old by author Parker Palmer and facilitated by Lynn Delong. The first session will be Sunday Feb. 7, 6:30-8 p.m., and the remaining three sessions will be on the Mondays of Feb. 22, March 8 and 22 from 6:30-8: p.m. Participants are asked to contact [email protected] to register, to purchase their own text and pay a $10 registration fee.
Also beginning in February will be a Zoom book study of The Universal Christ, authored by Richard Rohr through nine sessions on Tuesdays, Feb. 16, March 2, 16, 30, April 13 and 27 and May 11 and 25, 1-2:30 p.m. This study will be led by a team of Roseanne MacDonald, Vangie Broderick and Sr. Gemma Dunn. Participants are asked to purchase their own text, register with [email protected] and pay a $10 registration fee. There are still four spaces available.
