Blasting in Paradise this afternoon

There’ll be some blasting operations on Pretty Place in Paradise this afternoon as the town completes some water and sewer work.

The blasting is needed to remove hard bedrock.

The town says the contractor undertaking the work has completed the required pre-blast survey and has taken all the steps to ensure safety of operations and the integrity of surrounding properties.
