Burin man charged with distributing child pornography

GRAND BANK, N.L. — Justin Hickman of Burin appeared in provincial court in Grand Bank on Monday, March 25, where he was released on bail. 

The 36-year-old is charged with distributing child pornography. 

As a condition of bail, Hickman was ordered not have unsupervised access with anyone under the age of 16. He must also remain away from any places primarily frequented by such people.  
Other conditions include an order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour and not possess, consume or traffic in any illegal drug or substance. 
Hickman will return to court to enter a plea on the charges April 17.
