OTTAWA (Reuters) - Canadian Finance Minister Bill Morneau said on Wednesday he would be staying in his job, revealing a key element of a cabinet shuffle due to be announced by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau later in the day.

"I look forward to continuing in the role," he told reporters. Trudeau, whose Liberals retained power in an election last month, is due to unveil his new team of ministers at 1.30 pm Eastern Time (1830 GMT).
