A Colchester County man will be sentenced in September after pleading guilty Wednesday to two child pornography charges.
Jon-Erik Drew Hill, 32, was arrested last May after RCMP executed a search warrant at his former home in Onslow Mountain.
Police said they had been notified by a social media company that child pornography was being shared on its application.
Hill, who now lives in Bible Hill, pleaded guilty in Truro provincial court to charges of possessing and distributing child pornography.
The offences were committed between April 1 and April 8, 2020.
Judge Alain Begin scheduled Hill’s sentencing for Sept. 9. He remains free on strict conditions.
Hill was also accused of making child pornography. That charge is expected to be withdrawn.
