Lunenburg County man faces multiple charges after Bridgewater disturbance

BRIDGEWATER, N.S. — One man is under arrest and another in hospital after Bridgewater police responded to a “disturbance” on Wednesday night.

According to a news release, officers responded to several 911 calls about a disturbance involving weapons at a residence on Starr Street.

“Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, who was transported by EHS to South Shore Regional Hospital for treatment,” the release said. “A second adult male was arrested at the scene and is currently being held by the Bridgewater Police Service as the investigation continues.

Numerous charges are pending against a 51-year-old Lunenburg County man, the release said.

Bridgewater police encourage any witnesses to call the non-emergency line and / or Crime Stoppers.
