Weather
There will be some sunny periods across the province Wednesday with west wind gusting to 30 km/h and a high of 2 C.
A word from SaltWire Network chief meteorologist Cindy Day:
“A cavalcade of clippers continues to race across the province. The next one will bring some wet snow overnight into tomorrow. A strengthening southwest wind will pull in more mild air; rising temperatures will result in a changeover to rain, at least for a few hours tomorrow. We’re in for a dramatic drop in temperatures in the wake of the system – Friday will be frigid with feel-like temperatures near -16 C during the day. The next in the series of fast-moving systems will slide in late Saturday night with some snow that will change to rain early Sunday. After a quiet start to the week and new month, a snow system dropping down from the northwest could bring 10 to 15 centimetres of snow to the Island by Tuesday afternoon.”
