STRATFORD, P.E.I. — Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday to sandblast and paint the pedestrian underpass in Stratford, which runs under the Trans-Canada Highway.
This project is expected to take about four weeks to complete, and during this time, no pedestrian access will be available along this section of trail in the town.
Residents will be required to use the intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway and Stratford/Hopeton roads to cross the Trans-Canada Highway in this vicinity.
Signage will be in place throughout the repair process to direct and inform all active transportation users of the required alternate route.
This is a joint project of the province of P.E.I. and Town of Stratford.
