CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Two P.E.I. men face charges after police responded to a complaint in Charlottetown Sunday evening.
At about 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 2, Charlottetown police responded to a complaint of two suspicious men on Queen Street swinging a baseball bat.
Police were able to locate the suspect vehicle associated with the complaint and pulled it over.
Police located a baseball bat and two knives which resulted in charges being laid.
A 29-year-old Clyde River man has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breach of probation and a 33-year-old Charlottetown man has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Both men have been released with conditions and will appear in provincial court at a later date.
