There were no injuries but a fence was heavily damaged just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning after a car crashed into a Mount Pearl back yard.
An emergency official on scene told The Telegram that the female driver apparently swerved to avoid youths running across Ruth Avenue, lost control of the car and crashed through the fence of a Massey Crescent property that backed onto Ruth Avenue.
The RNC is investigating.
