Collision sends two people to hospital, injuries not thought to be serious

Three RNC cars, two ambulances and two fire trucks responded to the scene of a traffic collision in front of Brewskies Pub in the Goulds late Tuesday night.
According to an employee at the pub, an elderly woman in an SUV hit a car head-on when trying to turn off the main road onto Petty Harbour Road.
The employee said a man and his son were in the car. A third car parked in the Brewskies parking lot was bumped as well.
At least two people were taken to hospital by ambulance. Their condition is not known, though witnesses said they did not appear to be seriously hurt.
People at the pub said it’s a dangerous intersection.
A police officer at the scene said he could not comment.
