The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary are searching for a lone man who robbed a convenience store in Kilbride at around 10:45 p.m. Tuesday night.

The man entered the business, presented a weapon and demanded cash before fleeing the scene.

Nobody was injured in the robbery which is still under investigation.

In an earlier call from Tuesday night, the RNC stopped and charged a 47-year-old man in Pouch Cove for operating a vehicle over the legal limit for alcohol.

He was issued a 7 day driving suspension and his vehicle was impounded.
