The third case reported today is also in the Eastern Health region. The case is a male over 70 years of age and a close contact of the first case announced on Wednesday, November 18. The person is a tenant of the Blue Crest Cottages in Grand Bank.

Public Health has reported six new cases in Grand Bank this week and all of them are connected.

The fourth and fifth cases reported today are females in the Western Health region. One female is 20 years of age and the second is between 40 and 49. Both are residents of NL and close contacts of the second case reported Friday, November 20.

The source of infection for the second case reported on Friday, November 20, in the Western Health region is still being investigated. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

All cases reported today are self-isolating, contact tracing is ongoing and anyone considered a close contact has been advised to quarantine.
