CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — P.E.I.’s chief public health office is advising anyone who travelled on the same flight as five people who recently tested positive for COVID-19 to monitor themselves for symptoms.
The five cases involve essential workers who travelled on Air Canada flight AC8360 from Toronto to Charlottetown on July 30.
On Wednesday, chief public health officer Dr. Heather Morrison confirmed five essential workers who travelled to P.E.I. from outside the country had tested positive for COVID-19.
The workers, who are men in their 30s and 40s, have been in self-isolation since their arrival and all work in the same industry.
