Comedic actor and writer John Cleese will host “Why there is no hope” at Mile One Centre in St. John’s next spring.
Best known for his work with the Monty Python troupe, Cleese has been involved in many creative projects since.
His work on the screenplay for “A Fish Called Wanda” earned him an Oscar nomination.
More recently, in 2014, his memoir “So Anyway…” was a New York Times bestseller.
The performance in St. John’s is being described by promoters as a night of Cleese sharing humorous insights.
Tickets will range from $70 to $120 and are set to go on sale Friday, July 20 at noon.
If you wish to purchase tickets — or register a complaint, pine for the fjords, buy an argument — you can reach the box office at 709-576-7657, mileonecentre.com.
