Molgaard Blake has been with the Labrador-Grenfell legacy health authorities since 1991, according to a news release. She took on a senior executive role when the existing health authority was created in 2005, and has since served as chief operating officer and vice-president.
“Ms. Blake brings considerable knowledge and experience to this senior leadership role with Labrador-Grenfell Health. Her experience in this region continues to be of great value to the organization and the people it serves. On behalf of the board of Labrador-Grenfell, I welcome Barbara aboard,” said Boyd C. Noel, chair of the health authority’s board of trustees.
Molgaard Blake began serving in the role on Aug. 1. She replaces Tony Wakeham. The Independent Appointments Commission is working on filling the position.
