Fire destroyed a commercial barn at a dairy farm in Bay Bulls early Saturday morning.
Witless Bay volunteer fire department assistant fire chief Shane Cole said they were called out at about midnight and when they arrived on scene, the building was completely engulfed in flames. He added the approximately 8-by-20 metre building was used to store equipment and also functioned as a utility shed.
A nearby barn housing cows was also slightly damaged by the fire but none of the animals were injured.
The RCMP is investigating the incident.
