Multiple thefts from vehicles have taken place in the Stephenville area and the Bay St. George RCMP want the public to beware and take precautions.
On Friday at approximately 12:00 a.m., Bay St. George RCMP received a report that a vehicle on Sunset Crescent was entered sometime overnight but nothing of value was taken.
On Saturday, between approximately 9:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., police received a report that two vehicles on St. Stephen's Street were entered sometime overnight. A small amount of change was stolen from one vehicle while a wallet was taken from the second vehicle with damage done to the interior.
A third vehicle on Glendale Street was also entered sometime overnight with nothing of value taken.
Bay St. George RCMP is dedicated to ensuring the safety of the community and would like to remind the public to remove all valuables from their vehicles and ensure the doors are locked.
The investigation is ongoing.
