Body found in Goulds Thursday morning

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary are investigating the discovery of a body in Goulds on Thursday morning.
“The body of a man was found earlier in the day in the Donovan’s Road area of Goulds,” Const. Geoff Higdon told the media over the noon hour Thursday.
“We are working with the medical examiner to get more information. This is an ongoing investigation at this time,’’ he added.
Higdon said there was no information available as to the identity of the deceased, and the nature or cause of death has not been determined. This may become available after an autopsy is performed.
He said anyone who may have any information pertaining to the identity or the nature of the death, is asked to contact the RNC at 729-8000.
