Business community launches anti-budget petition

St. John’s — An informal coalition of business groups — including the St. John’s Board of Trade, Downtown St. John’s, the Restaurant Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, the Building Owners and Managers Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, Destination St. John’s, the George Street Association and the Canadian Federation of Independent Business — Thursday launched a petition online at www.ipetitions.com to protest the 2016 St. John’s budget.
