When firefighters, paramedics and police arrived on scene at the intersection of Lemarchant Road and Casey Street, all that was left was an empty damaged vehicle, debris on the road and a slightly dented wooden pole. It appears the car was headed east at about midnight when the incident happened. It’s unknown how many people were in the car or whether there were any injuries. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating.
