A stranded motorist on Pitts Memorial Drive in Mount Pearl early this morning ended up spending the night in the lockup.
When Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers stopped to check on the driver on the side of the road, a records check revealed him to be on a pair of court orders and a court-mandated curfew.
He was arrested, charged on two breaches and held for a court appearance in St. John’s this morning.
