PARADISE, N.L. — One person has been taken to hospital after being exposed to carbon monoxide in St. Anne’s Industrial Park in Paradise.
Two dozen others were treated for exposure to carbon monoxide after Eastern Health paramedics and St. John’s Regional Fire Department personnel responded to a call about odour in the Armour Transportation Systems building.
Emergency officials are currently trying to contact an additional two dozen people who might have been unknowingly exposed to the carbon monoxide, and who might or might not be experiencing symptoms.

Emergency personnel are on the scene of an incident in St. Anne’s Industrial Park in Paradise.
About two dozen employees have been evacuated from the Armour Transportation building and are being treated by Eastern Health paramedics.
None of the employees appear to be seriously injured.
St. John’s Regional Fire Department personnel wearing breathing apparatus have entered the building, after responding to a call about apparent odour inside the building.
There are three ambulances on the scene, as well as firefighters and RNC officers.
