C.B.S. woman charged with assault

CONCEPTION BAY SOUTH, N.L. — A 25-year-old woman was charged with assault with a weapon after the RNC responded to a report of a disturbance in Conception Bay South. The suspect was charged after allegedly striking the victim with a blunt object.

She was taken to St. John’s City Lock-up and held for a court appearance

The victim was taken to the hospital to be treated.
