Collision with parked vehicle sends woman to hospital in St. John's Saturday

A woman was taken to hospital Saturday afternoon after crashing her car into a parked vehicle on Duckworth Street.

The collision happened at the intersection of Duckworth and Cochrane and caused extensive damage to both vehicles.

An emergency official on scene said the woman apparently suffered a medical issue just before the collision.

There were no other injuries.
