Crews fighting brushfire near Fermeuse

Forest fire crews were on scene battling a brushfire on the Southern Shore near Fermeuse Thursday afternoon.

According to the provincial forest fire duty officer four ground personnel, a helicopter and a water bomber from Gander were on site.

The fire is said to cover approximately three hectares and is located about two kilometres away from Fermeuse.
