A cyclist has been taken to hospital after he was struck by a car at the intersection of Topsail Road and Columbus Drive Sunday night.
The collision happened just before 8 p.m. and left the front wheel of the bike twisted and bent.
When the Telegram arrived on scene, the man was lying on snow-covered grass nearby and was being treated by paramedics.
He was eventually taken away by ambulance as the distraught female driver of the SUV that struck him looked on.
The RNC is investigating.
