The man was struck and killed after the custom bicycle he was riding was struck by an SUV around 4 p.m. Friday. The crash occurred in the westbound lane of the TCH just past the Holyrood Access. Members of the Holyrood Volunteer Fire department and members of the Holyrood RCMP detachment responded. Traffic was blocked and diverted for several hours as emergency personnel secured the scene and began their investigation.
