Conception Bay South, N.L.— A 50-year-old man took off from the vehicle he was driving after he was stopped by RNC in C.B.S. around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night.

Police caught up and detained the driver a short distance from the scene. He has been charged with dangerous driving, flight from police and was issued a seven-day driving suspension.
